Real words from the families who walk this journey with us.
I've had the chance to see Jenny work directly with my son who is autistic, and she has a natural gift for connecting with kids. She is deeply knowledgeable about how kids' motor and cognitive functions work; but what I appreciate most is how well she understands each kid as an individual and finds creative, practical ways to support them. One real example is how despite my many unsuccessful attempts to get my son to hold a crayon and write, it was only until Jenny started working with him that he made a breakthrough. I can happily say now that my son loves to draw and does so daily.
Jenny brings a lot of energy to her work and is also a powerful advocate for children and families. Her knowledge of IEPs and the school system is a huge asset, especially when helping families understand what their child needs and how to advocate for those supports. This was extremely valuable to a parent who felt overwhelmed and ill equipped to effectively advocate for my son.
Most importantly, she really cares. It comes through in everything she does. I would recommend her without hesitation.
